This space will consist of: Tron stuff. And stuff that relates to Tron. And stuff that I can relate to Tron, because I can, because I said so. And occasionally other stuff. But mostly Tron.
So I see the mainstream media is blowing the news in the DisInsider article out of proportion. (Thanks to @tron for pointing it out.)
There hasn’t been an official TRON 3 greenlight announcement. It hasn’t been officially stated that it’s “in development”.
The closest to an official statement we got was from the Mitchell Leib interview. That Disney is still interested in making a TRON 3.
But if this is a deliberate campaign to create buzz about a sequel, testing the waters to see if there’s still audience interest, then it’s working. TRON 3 is even trending on Twitter. 😉
For a company known for their beautiful animated movies, Disney sure seems hell bent on making their 3D animated shows as ugly as possible

Let me pick a TRON icon for my account you cowards. You have both movies AND the series for streaming. Give us an account icon option. It won’t make up for you cancelling yet another TRON project but it will help in a tiny bit.

Every once in a while I come across some gremlin again and marvel at how clearly op saw directly into my brain. Neglected minor characters are the best.
Give me a canon (if TRON, give me an era) and if I’m familiar with it, I’ll tell you about a background character I like!
